Could your regional team use a writing skills refresher?
Every year, I head down the track to run a full program of writing workshops in both Alice Springs and Katherine.
Everyone is welcome in these face-to-face workshops, where people from government agencies, land councils, NGOs, schools, local businesses and community organisations come together to improve their writing skills.
Both programs are in October, and bookings are now open. Numbers are capped to venue capacity, so secure your spot below.
Alice Springs – October 2026
Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 + Thursday 29 October
A writing skills package of 3 workshops over 1.5 days, delivered in person at the Desert Knowledge Precinct.
The program
Day 1 – Punctuation Unpacked + How to Write in Plain English
Full day: 9am – 3.45pm. Choose one of 2 dates:
- Tuesday 27 October
- Wednesday 28 October
Day 2 – Email Writing
Half day: 2.5 hours. Choose a morning or afternoon session:
- Thursday 29 October AM: 9.30am – noon
- Thursday 29 October PM: 1pm – 3.30pm
Participants will do both days to complete the full writing skills program. You'll choose your preferred dates when you book, below.

COST
$690 per person for all 3 workshops (incl. GST).
Cost includes all 3 workshops, workbooks, training materials, catered morning tea and travel/venue expenses.
